Ramchild (Em Ludington) is a queer white settler living on unceded and therefore stolen xʷməθkʷəy̓ əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, + səlil̓w̓ ətaɬ territories in so-called “Vancouver”. They are a visual artist and educator who uses ceramic and illustration to capture the adaptability and mystery of memory, embodied history, and queered experience. The forms they explore often echo, mimic, and reflect debris, ghosts, magical figures, and otherworldly realities.
