Linda Doherty was born in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and studied ceramics at a variety of workshops. She divides her time between Burnaby, where she teaches at the Shadbolt Centre of the Arts, and the Nicola Valley. The serene setting at her Stump Lake studio is conducive for creating ‘one of a kind’ pieces. She has exhibited nationally and internationally, including Claynadians, in Gulgong, Australia, in 2007, Ashes to Art Scattered, in Graton, CA in 2008 and Art of Craft, at the Museum of Vancouver in 2010.
