Kristine Aguilar was born in the Philippines and moved to Vancouver in the late 80s. She earned a Fine Arts Diploma from Langara College and a BFA from Concordia University. She has participated in artist residency programs in Japan, Mexico and the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts. Her work has been exhibited across North America, including the former Gallery of BC Ceramics and Charlie Cummings Gallery, and has shown in The Journal of Australian Ceramics. She is one of the core members of the soda firing crew at the Dusty Babes studio, which was previously Don Hutchinson’s studio, in South Surrey. More of her work can be found here.
