Jackie Frioud, North Vancouver, Teapot, salt-fired stoneware, 7” x 8” x 5”. 

Jackie Frioud lives in North Vancouver, and has been making salt-glazed pottery for almost 20 years. She has a BFA from the University of British Columbia. Her work has been featured in magazines and in the book Ceramics: Creative Adventures in Clay, as well as in shows in Canada and the US.  She was a recipient of the Northwest Ceramics Foundation Award of Excellence in 2018. Jackie shares a studio at the Mergatroid Building in Vancouver, and fires her pottery at the Tidal Art Centre in Lund where she recently built her second salt kiln.
