Denise Jeffrey is a Burnaby-based ceramic artist, currently Artist-in-Residence at MOA until December, 2021. She obtained her BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design in 1999, majoring in ceramics, and she first established a studio near Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.  The recipient of numerous awards, she has exhibited her work in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Washington State and British Columbia.  Her goal with her work is to create pieces that can be appreciated for their form, colour, and feel, and be used every day around the home. After moving to British Columbia, Denise became involved with the ceramics community here, serving as President of the Potters Guild of BC (2012-2015) and the North West Ceramics Foundation (2016-2018).  She currently serves as Treasure to the NWCF.
